| What training treats do you use? Keira is a fussy madam and seems to like treats one week then changes her mind the next  I used to use hotdog sausage but she is hit and miss with these Ive used all the petshop treats for ease Ive used chicken I want to try something that she will find irresistable so she behaves at training and starts watching me more All the other dogs respond to their treats but Keira is a real pain sometimes totally ignoring hers :wqq: She likes that jerky stuff but they only sell it in large chunks and it stinks I could do with tiny training size jerky but have never seen it for sale anywhere
Any suggestions appreciated |

| Sardine / liver cake... mine will do anything for a bit of sardine cake Cheese, ham, chicken With hotdogs i tend to heat them up so the smell is released more, making it more appetising to them but i realise it's not so easy for training classes to have them warmed up |

| Heard people mention liver cake before What is it  Might try the cheese and some garlic sausage tomorrow to see how she goes
Done the hot sausage and chicken already What about some cooked liver cut into little chunks Probably a stupid question but does anyones dog like plain cooked liver or is it too strong a flavour? Never cooked it before as i cant stand the stuff but i could probably cut that into nice little treatsize chunks |

| Bren I have a recipe for Livercake with garlic, I have made it for Marley and he loves it and it only takes 5 mins in a microwave. I'll hunt the recipe out for you if you'd like. It makes loads and you can put it into litle bags and freeze it.
marley Loves wagg training treats I got a free sample from crufts and he will do anything for them, our local petshop gets them in for me I buy them by the box!! marley also loves cheese and mattesons garlic sausage _________________ |

| I've made liver treats but can't stand the smell, or cleaning the blender afterwards!. Prefer to make sardine cake it doesn't smell as bad. But recently I've given up and have stated to buy my home made treats from a friend. If you want I can email you her details and price list. |
