| This question is aimed at anyone who has more than one large dog Do your dogs play rough like Keira and Mickey in the second video? They both seem to love this rough play especially Keira but im wondering if it is normal and whether i should i put a stop to it  They do try to bring the play fighting into the house but i just seperate them to stop it putting Keira in the conservatory She seems to be the instigator Have a look and let me know what you guys think http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm50/VidexKorrie/?action=view¤t=SANY0001.flv http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm50/VidexKorrie/?action=view¤t=SANY0002.flv |

| Misty and Bryn play rough, well Misty is rough and Bryn is at the end of it, though he loves it and always encourages her to keep play fighting. From what I can see on the video is that it IS play, that Mickey is really enjoying himself and Keira is kind of saying I am tougher than you and a little more serious about the play. Both mine are wagging their tails as soon as there is a break in play, Bryn doesn't make much noise in the play, Misty is very much as your video shows with the noise. Misty is VERY vocal, in everything she does. Are your naturally voacl? I think it helps when you know the dogs personality, mine lay down and lick eachother after the play fight, they are very close as this picture shows. It's hard to say Bren, everyones dogs are different hun, does it worry you? are there personality changes during the play fights? |

| my opinion is if they were mine i wouldnt allow it hun
reasons being it looks to me more testing each other then play really mine jump around and play and are vocal with it but if ke gets lke that then i instantly stop the game as it could easily go further thats just my opinion tho hun
you know your dogs better then anyone  |

| Im glad someone has said their dogs play like this and yes they have been worse than this aswell Yes they both seem to really enjoy the rough play and both get quite vocal Keira is definately liking throwing her weight around Mickey is bigger but Keira seems to get the better of him She is more well toned and powerful It was unusual for her to let go of the toy in the first video She normaly teases him with it then uses her muscle power to snatch it off him What a bitch So do you think Keira is trying to show she is the boss fazza? |

| This what i thought about him He is ok at the moment because Keira is more powerful but once he has grown and bulked up he may try to dominate her and then i will have problems once he is more powerful
Dont want whats happened in Blackpool to happen in my back garden :nhy:
I do break them up when i consider its getting too rough |

| im very strict with my dogs and altho i allow rough and tumble its still all on my terms and watched as it can and does lead to fights breaking out
saying that it also builds good muscle and bonds between the dogs but if allowed to get too far the end result isnt good
you know wat your doing hun x |

| I stop my three before it gets to that stage too, purely to discourage it turning into more. I'm sure they would play like that if I let them though but I can see where it could become out of control with them so I just dont allow it. I'd rather be safe than sorry then have to sort out three dogs that dont want to get on.
I'm only talking about my dogs though, who are prob loads different to yours  |
