thankyou kenny for fending me to take my tank water back for re-testing.... but i still forgot :2431: ... so instead ...yesterday i bought a home testing kit for PH levels....

i tested the water this morning... not quite there yet, but its a better result than last time, which was yellow .... ive treated the water again this morning with some PH up .... and i WILL remember to test it again next week :2445:

    heres the results ....

as u have test kit now recheck later tonight to see what changes have taken place as u have up'd ph.this will let u see what diff the amount u have put in effects the water as u dont want to change ph to quickly as this can effect fish that have become used to the lower levels in ur tank

the kit that tests for everything was about £30.. but for individual ones it costs around £4 each...

this test cost about £4.60 and will do 240 tests

    Donno

I may put him in the little tank as soon as the baby guppy and platy can come downstairs into this one, they are about an inch long now including their tales, you think they are big enough to live with the Molly's etc

    What i have done is...............

Left Mr Krib in the big tank where he is, let him get his confidence back and grow

Put Bitchy Mrs Krib in the small tank upstairs, so the big tank will be his territory now

and moved the babies into a larger breeding trap in the big tank and let them grow a little bit more before releasing them with the other fish
