If you ever want to fly in Canada chose Westjet.

Westjet airline attendants make every effort to make the in-flight safety lectures & announcements a bit more entertaining.

Here are several REAL examples heard or reported by passengers from REAL flights.

1. On a Westjet flight there is no assigned seating, you just sit where you want. Passengers were apparently having a hard time choosing when a flight attendant announced
'People, people! We're not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it!!'

2. On another flight with a very 'senior' flight attendant crew, the pilot said, 'Ladies & gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants.'

3. 'There may be 50 ways to leave your lover but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane.'

4. 'In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask and pull it over your face. If you have a small child travelling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are travelling with more than one small child, pick your favourite.'

5. A flight attendants comment on a less than perfect landing: 'Please remain in your seats while Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal.'

6. After another particularly bumpy landing the first officer, as part of airline policy, was standing at the door as the passengers exited the plane. He gave each of them a smile and thanked them for flying with Westjet. Due to the bad landing he hardly dared look anybody in the eye thinking that someone would have a smart comment. Finally everyone had left the plane apart from one little old lady walking with the aid of a stick. As she came up to the first officer she said,'Do you mind if I ask you a question?'
'Why no ma'am', he said. 'What is it?'
The old lady said 'Did we land or were we shot down?'




If ever I fly in Canada I'm sure gonna chose Westjet!!

Flying is absolutely amazing Karen! I love it. One of my fave films is Top Gun cos of the flying scenes. Would love to go up in one of those fighter jets
