missed one  Shelley dont do a full water change, if you remove everything and clean thats fine but the water you keep fish in while u do it should go back in do not do complete change of water

Gold fish (fantails) came be bullies in a tropical set up as this is not really there enviroment, this may be why ur other fish are dying off as the remainder are all peaceful fish

It would be nice to see a pic off ur set up Sandra have u added kribs yet?

i had wondered that kenny... im in two minds whether to take the fantails back but theyre lovely, ive never seen any evidence of them bullying

cheers for the adice about the water change :san53:

Sandra always stay clear of advertised pairs you can get the young fish cheaper and they will pair of themselves,an example of this is the angel fiah u see these as pairs in pet shops which are quite expensive.
but if you buy 4 young fish they may pair of as they grow u keep one pair sell the other back to shop,
Did you try ebay for fish yet ?

how woul e-bay ship the fish out to you?

wouldnt they die or get stressed in transit, especially if they come from far away?

no they dont die they are shipped with heat packs and are delivered next day ,i still get email from favorite sellers even though i dont have fish at present.
check it out under pets-tropical fish you may have to scroll a couple of pages to find what breeders are selling fish
