| I took Keira down to my mums today My mum has a rescue border collie x called Roxy who cannot stand Keira Anyway i talked mum into coming for a walk over onto the field at the back of her house Ive been quite worried that Roxy hasnt been getting enough exercise as my mum hasnt been getting out as much as she usually does My mum gets really worried about the dogs and thought they would fight I knew Keira wouldnt but Roxy can be a bit snappy On the way there Keira walked really well an didnt pull or try to get near Roxy so when we got there i let her off lead I had her tennis ball and her ball on a rope (see Fazza i do take it all in i now carry 2 balls every walk) Roxy doesnt usually get off lead but she is a very obediant dog so i got mum to let her off for a run Roxy is a very serious dog and doesnt really play very much so we were both shocked when she started chasing the ball She did give Keira a few warning nips but Keira being the wuss she is submitted Once Roxy realised she wasnt gonna get beat up she started enjoying herself it was lovely to see her running about Keira made sure she got to the ball first tho :san42: she wasnt gonna let Roxy have her ball :nhy: We spent a while over the field then walked them on lead on the path by the main road Keira hates walking by a road and cowers when cars go past but today she was really good we then went to the local one stop shop Mum tied Roxy to the dog post outside while i stood outside with Keira It was really busy and loads of people were coming in and out Keira just sat looking at them I was amazed she didnt try to jump up or pull at all which is very unusual :san12: I dont know if ive just had a great day with her or we are turning a corner with her boisterous behaviour Maybe she is maturing  She is knackered now and is lying here flat out sleeping :san23: |
