4,000 Rescue Dogs Say Thanks Very Mutt!
    March 13, 2009
Thanks to The Sun for promoting the plight of rescue dogs in this excellent piece from the
    Sun Online.

PAWS for a second to look at Charlie the puppy.
Cute as a button, you would think his owners loved him to bits. Yet
Charlie was handed in for rehoming at rescue centre, DogsBlog.com.

Luckily, the story has a happy ending — the 15-week-old German
Shepherd cross has just become the 4000th pooch to be rehomed by the
    centre.

He has now been in his new home for three weeks and is fully house trained,
able to sit and even come and offer his paw when asked.

Like thousands of other dogs he has been given a new chance in life thanks to
    the site.

"We're really proud of DogsBlog's achievements so far,” says Kim Bruce
    from the charity.

“The site is doing what it was set up to do.

“Now we need to continue those efforts helping to find more dogs their ideal
    homes.”
Could you give a dog a home too?
