PostSubject: good boy fred   Thu Mar 12, 2009 4:19 pm

im so chuffed with fred today i could hug him harder than i normally do

we went for a walk to kennelgate to get some guinea pig bedding and food... on the way there he was brilliant, no pulling, just his usual prancing about and rubbing his head on my leg....

we got to kennelgate, and he nearly traumatised a poor toddler to death by licking his face when he stroked him, fred gets very excited when he sees small children, he thinks its playtime lol....

i was at the counter paying and fred pulled me , i turned round and there was a litte cavalier spaniel thing there, so i pulled him away, and he barked, so i loosened him off so we could go and have a stroke, and he was absolutely fine, no barking growling or pouncing at the dog, he was bloomin brill bless him....

then as we were walking home, on the other side of the road there was a lady walking a gsd and a boxer, normally fred would be going crazy, he had a look wagged his tail and did nothing.... then further up the road there was another dog, and he did nothing again, just looked, so we went staight home, before he encountered a dog that would make him bark and spoil it all lol..

he made me very proud today, i think me lads growing up :2286:

might be a different story tomorrow though lol

well after posting this thread we went out for a walk the next day, and fred was a nightmare but ive persevered with him and he got no better but at the same time he got no worse, so today i decided to take a water bottle out with me so i could squirt him when he barked at another dog.... and he never even barked at one dog.....typical lol....
