| agree fazza our trainer says the pinch collar causes less damage than they standard choke, i,ll be getting one of these at next champ show but we have not to use it until trainer fits it and ensures its fitting correct. Even Zamp bob crufts winner(gsd)last year has been seen eith this collar. We had germans over at the training club last year and thats what the used when teaching obe |

| thanks hun this is very true as they give an all round even pressure unlike a check collar and they are very much self correcting so u dont see ppl snach checking their dogs heads off as it works in a instant
if i was a normal joe bloggs then my mali would have been pts at a yr old as he was dangerous but i used the prong on him and hes a diff dog he no longer will take it upon himself to become defencive with everyone he meets he hardly wears it now except in public places i dont tend to even have leads on my lot as were we walk we get them out of the van and go *we carry leads tho* it helps to bring his drive down also wen i was working with a lot of statics who liked to come up and chat tell you wats wat on the job i need him to be calm as poss lol |

| ohhh just made me so mad to put everyone in the same box because i use a prong i love my dogs and im not being big headed ect but doing the job i do it builds a bond soooo strong you have to put all your trust into your dog im not a big guy im 5ft lass and weigh over 7 stone if someone wanted to attack me i think they would have a great chance but i have my workers at my side i know im safe and i have been in some very scary situations were a lot of dogs would have said piss off lol and keke has been there for me wen other dogs were not for there handlers and one reason IMO the bond because they do beat their dogs keira and rostam will give their lives for me but im sure they more then know i would for them too  rant over lol |

| As far as i'm concerned people can use what they like. Iknow that my friend over fifty years has never used anything but a choke correctly. She has done all types of training and trained these so called high drive dogs and still have complete controll even in manwork. Its to do with training. All our dogs will listen to us whatever. A coller is used to train the dog and when that is done everything works the same without a coller. Any one who needs a coller to controll a dog hasnt done their training. :2431: |

| exactly like i said i dont need the prong anymore only put it on him in public places now incase i have dick heads come up to him and dis respect his space lol other wise i dont use leads i find my lot better off lead anyway
ppl prob think my lad is crazy he isnt i couldnt have dreamed of a better dog if im being honest but he is a malinois and they are not for the faint hearted they have hard temeperments and even the best GSD ppl say im mad for owning one as they never would and i dont blame them lol
the lines my lad is from is bred for work work work and only the toughest guys and gals are bred from so you have a real worker who doesnt want to be everyones best mate only one thing on his mind is work i dont like the way they get compared to the GSD a lot as imo they are not anything like yes similar in ways but i also find them similar to collies with their sharpness too lol
i have to say i actually went straight to the prong for pup didnt use a check altho i have a german one for keke and i think the prong was the better option for pup |
