My new tank got it for £80 off of Ebay, yesterday evening, it has the heater, pump, lights, a rock type orn a driftwood pretend orn, extra pump with 2 airways for air stones, a book on fish (old, not that good), a net, a glass cleaner, magnets for the glass cleaning, (not sure about them) lots of tubing and non-return valves and a few other bits and bobs, my husband is picking up more gravel today as that is all that was needed I am well chuffed with it, it's 4foot

:san42: Noooooooo you wouldn't hun, we all had to start, if you go to a good aquatic shop they will give you everything you need and just do as they say, and you have Kenny on here to help with any questions, once it's all up and running there isn't a lot of maintanence after that.

I find them so relaxing to look at, I just drift off in my own little world

We picked it up in the 2 cars kenny as it wasn't that far from me, I have re-cleaned it all again, the filter is a Fluval 4plus, is that OK? I have another Fluval 2 as well, will the one that came wit it be OK or do you think I need them both or buy another?

2 and a half foot will look lovely but you may find it a bit small if you find you really enjoy it as you will be limited on the number of fish you can keep. But it depends, if you will be happy with just a small collection it will add a lovely feature to your room

ideal size to start with Jan,and if comes with equipment even better(filter, lights etc)
there is a lot off dwarf species of fish that can be kept in this size of tank , and if you enjoy keeping them and upgrade to larger tank infuture it makes an ideal breeding tank or rearing tank for live fry

Always wanted one like that Jude, but this house doesn't really have the room, but we will be moving at the end of the year or beginning of next year so am not bothered about it being a bit big for here, it will look lovely in the other house,
