| For you fishie fans you dont have to keep buying food for your fish you can make or catch your own. As mentioned on snail food post , you can feed cucumber ,lettuce leaves to your fish i forgot to mention Peas if you have had them for your dinner drop a few in tank fish love them(ensure outer shell removed) and just crush and drop in. If you buy chicken with giblets you can feed liver type part to fish but only small amounts(to much makes water cloudy)and ensure none of the white fat sections are on it as they cant digest this. you see bags of Daphnie(water fleas) & blood worm etc in shops but when your walking the dog why not catch your own any pond in a field has these and always at waters edge. Earth worm is ideal but you have to cut up for smaller fish, white worm you can cultivate but you need a starter culture 1st. If you have a garage or shed this is easy a box ( shoe box size)with some soil put starter culture in with some white bread and keep moist use glass on top off soil the white worm stick on glass and you just scrape into tank continue to feed culture and you never run out of an excellent food. Tubifex worms can be found in burns after lifting a few rocks you will not llke this bit but best place to kep them is in the cistern of you toilet as every time you flush the worms are cleaned just pick some out and feed to fish do not do this if you use toilet blocks in cistern. If you have an old blender you can blend various of the above to gether and put in icecube tray and when frozen just drop into tank if you fancy trying any of the above and not sure what to do just ask me |

| Was gonna post on this, I would like to keep with my Platy's and Guppy's, so would need some nice community fish that won't bully them, (don't forget, I am the one who insists on only pretty or very interesting fish)
Now that the tank is bigger, I quite fancy Kribs, had them before about 5yrs ago, but the female killed off three males :2222: bitch!!! but I do find them so interesting, what you think?
Also, I think my peppered cory's are on the dating game, they are all over eachother, doing the most amazing quivery dance and crossing bodies, I have always had these fish but never have I had this match or behaviour before. |

They female holds the eggs in pectrol fins and places them on suitable surface usually plant or glass face have a good look you may have some eggs now |
