| It's not only me being lazy, it's cheaper and very handy.
Whenever your making any type of food like curry, spag ball, chilli, even some gravy.
Make as much as you can in one go.
Time mking them so you will be using all your old veg up before it goes off.
Blend down as much veg as you can and just through it in the sauce, it will thicken it, full of goodness and you can freeze it so you have a night off or two a week from cooking, it also makes the dish go a lot further. |

| My leftovers go to the dogs too. I always do a bit of extra veg for the dogs, they love a bit mixed in their food with gravy. We dont generally throw much out at all. If I do a spag bol or shepherds pie, I make it so the bit leftover is just enough for Joe the next day with some smiles or something. Fair play to everyone who freezes stuff, I've never done it and thrown loads away in the past before I had kids :2431: |

| I too cook extra, leave it in the fridge to cool for freezing, 9 times out of ten the teenagers have raided the fridge and eaten the extra food cooked, i can't win :2431: |
