Have shown Misty the year before last, with some good results as well, she did us proud qualifying for Crufts at Bournemouth Cham Show in 1st place and again at the WKC with a very good 3rd.

She never made it to Crufts though, she came into season the week before (we were not bothered anyway) during this time she also got attacked and lunged at a few times and her whole personality changed from a happy go lucky care free girl to a mad dog who thought she would get in and attack everything in site before they got her.

She is not like that now though, not as laid back as before but not to bad.

no i dont show my dogs as they are all working bred and get told many times by a lot of show ppl my dogs are not bred to show standard anyway lol my lab and malinois couldnt be farther from the show type but i want working dogs so each to their own i say

its never appeald to me to be honest i mean no disrespeact to anyone here who does show tho i used to show my horses and to be honest that was bad enough at one point i got banned from some showing classes as my horse kept winning lmao

i thought about showing fred for a while, but then after looking into it and hearing horror stories, i felt fred was better off as he is .... an unruly hoody lol...

i was told by freds breeder a while back, that it would only take 6mths to get fred to show standard... tbh even if i was serious about it, i didnt have the means and the know how anyway

I'm not interested in showing either, would rather do some doggy sports instead.

Only Maggie has papers anyway and they are dubious. I was talking to someone who has her older sister on another forum and it seems the breeder was a bit dodgy. Shes about a month behind the age she is on paper, I dont think they are real.

Always like watching the shows though and looking at pics, would be nice to see some show pics on here

I'm the same Karen, my dogs are good enough for me with or without papers. There was a time when we thought Stan may have had a bit of Doberman in him but we dont care what he looks like when hes grown :nhy:

fred has papers, but it makes no difference how i love him :love:

Never showed but BB came first in the most handsome boy class
Was great fun and all proceeds went back into helping other rescue dogs

when i was doing the pedigrees for the pups.
Codi's has nyvarna lines and 5 gens in his
Tilly's was 2 gens and probably no decent lines
but the new owners where very happy with what they had with or without papers.
