I have a beautiful baby Platy, black speckly type.

After what happened to my baby Guppy, I am taking no chances and managed to catch it yesterday and have stuck it in the fry tank please god let it survive, it's so sweet and dinky. Couldn't find anymore though, think they were gobbled up :sadd:

It's a tiny likkle plastic tank (which floats in the main tank) that you usually put the mother in to have her babies, the babies are called 'fry' as the mother gives birth, the babies fall from her through a division which stps them being eaten, then you take the mother out and put her back in the main tank, remove the division so there is more room for the babies and let them mature in there until you either put them in a different tank or they are large enough to survive being eaten in the main tank.
