| I'm collecting items to run a tombola stall at the Barking Mayhem Fun Day in May.

All money raised on the day will be divided equally between Mutts in Distress and BIGGSD Rescue. If you have any unwanted items that could be used to help raise funds on the day please let me know. Depending on size/location I can try to collect or cover postage costs.

Things suitable for a tombola stall, which is a kind of raffle, so need to be new or good condition, so for example some of the things I'm putting in are.....
- a couple of cuddly toys (I really am far too old now!)
- a couple of sets of smellies, bath set type things (unwanted xmas pressies off people who don't know what to buy)
- couple of bottles of wines that I'll never drink
- couple of new dog toys (Sabre has loads)
- Some weightwatchers scales (still in the box, and I can't find the time/motivation to weigh my food)
- Cd/Radio player I brought form Asda for £10 for my caravan but haven't used, and am selling caravan.
- some unwanted ornaments
- Glass chess set (never used, another unwanted present)
- one of those electric jar openers (still in box, another unwanted present!)
- £10 Marks and Spensers voucher (yep, you guessed it... another unwanted pressie)
So that's the kind of stuff that will make a decent stall, and get people to buy tickets, and in turn help those dogs a lot less forunate than ours!
Gonna get in the attic next week and see if I can find any goodies in there!... then I might head round some friends houses!!  |
